Due to ongoing renovations the SAAF Museum Ysterplaat will remain closed to the public until the end of February, subject to change.

The Cape Town Branch is open on
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 07h00 to 15h00
Saturday from 08h30 to 12h00.
The Cape Town Museum Branch is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.
Note: The Main Hanger (No 4 Hangar) is closed to visitors on weekdays when the base is operational.
Although we do conduct tours to 4 Hangar on Saturday mornings from 09h00B until ±11h30B it is advisable to contact the museum to find out if this tour is available. Call +27-21-5086576
PLEASE NOTE: This is an active SAAF airfield.
All visitors, including overseas visitors, must produce an Identification Document.
